I have been with OVVH for over 20 years. I started as a veterinary assistant and have held several positions over the years. Currently I am in charge of the bookkeeping.

When I am not at OVVH, I am very involved in animal rescue and founded Collie Rescue, Inc., a non-profit animal rescue serving Virginia and Maryland.

My name is Jazmyn. I am from Vermont but ventured down to NOVA in 2018 and have enjoyed my time here since. I started at OVVH as a receptionist, a veterinary assistant, and an administrative assistant in 2018 and I started my journey as Practice Manager in 2020. I have my Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration and I am Certified as a Society of Human Resources Management Professional. I graduated in 2026 with a Master's degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management. I have a strong passion for helping pets and their parents, as well as leading and developing our team while they do what they love. In my free time I enjoy horror movies and computer games, baking bread, exploring museums, trying new food, and spending time with my partner and 13 year old English Bulldog, Dozer. I absolutely love the OVVH team and feel that this hospital is one of a kind!

Hello, my name is Shawn. I was born and raised in the DMV area. This is my first job in the veterinary field but since I have been around animals all my life, I feel right at home. I chose to work at OVVH in 2024 because I believe animals are just furry people that need the same care and love we give to our human family. I have two cats named Scooter and Sherlock.

In my free time I enjoy playing video games and once won a national tournament!

Hi, I'm Laurel. I have had cats since I was little and would always play "vet" with my veterinarian toys. I also took a small animal vet class in high school and enjoy learning and reading about how to care for domestic and exotic small animals. I've received certificates for wildlife rehabilitation and zoo and aquarium sciences through the Animal Behavior Institute. My next goal will be to attend an animal program that will allow me to explore my passions of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, or animal physical therapy and massage. For the last 5 years, I've been assisting with animal physical therapy and volunteering at rescue organizations.

When I am not at work I enjoy hiking with my Beagle mix and showing him the country in my camper van, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and watching crime and horror.
